Just had dinner with a group of 5 persons. The restaurant atmosphere is very personalized. The quality of food was excellent and the food was very genuine and local method of cooking. The service was impeccable. The cost was very reasonable.
We had a fantastic experience. Excellent service by the owner, cooking by himself. We had the risotto, the tagliatta (tenderloin), the macaroni and for dessert two tiramisus. Everything cooked as requested, flavourful and delicate. We also each receiced an extra (bio, homemade) limoncetta cream on the house. Very satisfactory, would recommend 10/10.
We stopped in Nicolosi for lunch during our road trip through Sicily and are really lucky we found this gem of a restaurant! Very small and cozy, with exceptionally friendly staff! I had "Girello di Vitello in Crosta di Pane" and it was probably the best veal dish I ever had. We were also served a small appetizer of polenta with speck, truly amazing! The flavors are out of this world, everything fresh, great wine. I will come again for sure :-)
Amazing little hidden gem of a restaurant. If you’re ever passing through Nicosia, this is a must to recharge your body. Home made pasta (we took the wild boar ragu) is probably the best we’ve ever tasted !! The tagliata we took as second was great too and cooked to perfection. The home wine is light and smooth unlike many home made wines. We also had a fantastic tiramisu for dessert. All for the price of € 35/head. The owner is super friendly. The kitchen is open and you can watch them cook. Amazing food, atmosphere and rural ! If only I could add more stars to this review.
This restaurant serves amazing fresh dishes that are cooked with love and made with local produce. Mattia and Adriano are very friendly and despite the language barrier they made us feel very welcome and gave us great tips for other visits in the city. We visited twice and if we had more time we would come back again, it’s very very good! Also, do not skip the tiramisu, it’s a must :)
Sensational. Small place with only a few tables. Surprisingly good wine list and very fair prices: 10€ for primi and 15€ for secondi. Steak was grilled and basted with oil aromatised with fresh herbs.
We had a lovely authentic Sicilian meal, with delicious antipasto and a super pasta dish. We asked the chef to cook us what he wanted and we weren’t disappointed! We will return and would highly recommend.
We loved the food, the quaint atmosphere and the fun conversations with the owner. Everything was delicious, even simply the spaghetti Mediterranean. We plan to go back again before we leave town within the next couple days.
